Methodology & Experiences

Di founded Zhennovate to scale professional coaching resources for all levels of the workforce, after Di experiences firsthand how individual transformation is critical to innovation.

Di provides high-performance training and 1:1 coaching. Her clients come from Oracle, Boeing, Microsoft, Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics, the University of Washington, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Minnesota, and New Mexico State University.

She is an invited speaker at Los Alamos National Laboratory on the topic of Imposter Syndrome Management. She also provided training on career development for staff scientists, postdocs, and graduate students.

As a woman in STEM and in business, Di understands deeply the challenges and potentials experienced by women who are driven to make an impact. She writes about leadership development for the Association for Women in Science (AWIS). While at Microsoft, Di served on the steering committee of Women in Office and developed professional development programs for the 2000+ women engineers in Microsoft Office division. She leads Women Leadership Bootcamp for female executives in startups, small to medium size businesses, and government organizations.

Prior to founding Zhennovate, Di was a program manager at Microsoft, where she designed and drove the development of a part of the next version of Office productivity software from idea to global launch. She experienced firsthand how professional coaching supercharged her influencing skills to effectively manage cross-functional teamwork. Prior to Microsoft, Di worked on digital health with Qualcomm R&D,  superconductor research with Seagate R&D, and acupuncture research at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Harvard Medical School. A problem-solver to educational needs at heart, Di also founded MIT THINK in 2007, a national high school innovation program that still runs till this day.
